Stewart Strengthens Texas Title Operations

March 26, 2024

Stewart Title recently hired John Nisbet has joined the organization as Underwriting Counsel. Nisbet will provide underwriting support and guidance to the company’s Texas partners and agents within the Stewart Trusted Provider Network.

"John’s brokerage background and experience with counseling realtors over the years brings a unique perspective to Stewart’s network of agents across the Southwest,” said Heidi Junge, Southwest Regional Underwriting Counsel. “Stewart agents can look forward to John’s transaction-minded approach and expertise in risk mitigation.”

Nisbet brings 18 years of experience across commercial, ranch and residential transactions. After graduating from law school, he began representing equity partners in large-scale ranch projects across the Texas Hill Country. Most recently, Nisbet provided legal counsel to agents, brokerage departments and executive teams in the marketing, negotiation and sale of residential, commercial, and ranch real estate for the largest independent brokerage in South/Central Texas.

“I'm thrilled to join Stewart’s underwriting team and eager to contribute my expertise from prior brokerage experiences,” said Nisbet. “I look forward to providing valuable underwriting counsel to Stewart agents and offices.”
