Transnation Title Agency Announces Promotions

September 7, 2023

Transnation Title Agency promoted Becky Malone to chief residential officer and Sharlene Shineldecker to chief commercial officer.

These promotions signify the culmination of their dedication and contributions to the Michigan-based title agency’s continued growth and success.

Malone has worked in the title industry for 38 years. She started as a customer service representative and courier. Most recently, Malone served regional vice president of the company’s division in Grand Rapids.

"We’re thrilled to appoint Becky Malone as our chief residential officer,” said Thomas Olson, CEO of Transnation Title Agency “Her dedication and expertise have been instrumental in shaping our team's success, and we’re excited to see her flourish in this expanded role,"

Shineldecker's journey in the title industry spans 36 years. She previously served as vice president of escrow operations and regional vice president for Transnation Title’s Lakeshore Division. Shineldecker has been an active member of various industry associations and committees, including the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA), and holds numerous industry designations, further solidifying her position as an expert in the field.

"Shar’s vast experience and passion for excellence make her the ideal candidate for the role of Chief Commercial Officer,” Olson said. “She’ll continue to elevate our commercial escrow operations and build strong relationships with our valued customers."
