Volunteer for an ALTA Engagement Group This Year
If you’ve never thought about volunteering on an ALTA Engagement Group, now is the time to find your perfect match! With about 40 committees and work groups available, there is a place for every title industry interest. Whether you want to learn more about the industry, share your wealth of experience, network with new people or get more involved in the title insurance community, ALTA Engagement Groups can help you meet your needs.
ALTA is now accepting volunteers for its 2023-2024 Engagement Groups. The deadline to submit your name is Friday, July 14. If you are interested in volunteering, click here to submit an online volunteer form.
If you have a special area of expertise (such as real property records, claims, international development or industry technology), or if you have an area of interest (including membership, government affairs, public relations, research or professional education) there is an Engagement Group on which you can volunteer to serve.
The ALTA president-elect makes all committee appointments in the summer for a term beginning after ALTA ONE in October.
To be on an ALTA Engagement Group, you also must have a current membership to the Title Action Network (TAN). You can quickly and easily join or rejoin TAN with just three clicks:
- First, click here.
- If you are not already logged into ALTA’s website, click the red “Log In” button. (if you need your password, click here for an email reminder).
- Review and update your contact information on the Join TAN page, then CLICK the red “Renew TAN” box at the bottom of the page.
Remember, your TAN membership will expire annually, but you can stay connected by opening TAN emails and taking action. Each time you respond to a TAN alert, your membership auto-renews for another year!
