There is now hope for homeowners impacted by Hurricane Harvey and feeling the financial burden of flooding and other damages. The HOPE NOW Alliance, in partnership with Stewart Title, the City of Houston, the City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department and the City of Humble, is hosting free HOPE NOW Disaster Relief Events.

“If your home was flooded and you’re feeling the financial burden, please know that you don’t have to walk away,” said Eric Selk, executive director for the HOPE NOW Alliance. “Families looking for answers can discuss their options at no charge to understand resources available and steps to take to minimize Harvey’s financial impact.”

These multiday events will be hosted in both Houston and Humble.

  • Sept. 26-28 at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy, Humble, TX 77338, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 3-5 at the Chinese Community Center, 9800 Town Park Dr, Houston, TX 77036 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Homeowners attending these events will have access to financial industry experts including mortgage servicers, HUD-approved nonprofit housing counselors, FEMA and insurance providers. These financial experts will be available to discuss solutions, provide advice, check financial assistance eligibility and enroll homeowners in the right programs.
