CFPB Issues Qualified Mortgage, Ability-to-Repay Rule

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau finalized its Qualified Mortgage and Ability-to-Repay rule, which requires lenders to obtain and verify information to determine whether a consumer can afford to repay the mortgage.
