The National Association of Home Builders launched its redesigned Web site today, offering a section for consumers with advice, news and industry trends.

The new Web site offers a section for home buyers that aims to help with advice on where to live, how to find the right builder, how to protect the home investment, evaluating financing options, calculating payments, learning about smart growth and how to access television programs geared toward innovations in home building.

Fry Multimedia Inc. was chosen by NAHB to design and develop the new site.

Washington-based NAHB is a trade association representing more than 205,000 members involved in home building, remodeling, multifamily construction, property management, subcontracting, design, housing finance, building product manufacturing and other aspects of residential and light commercial construction.
