Tara S. Smith serves as the Direct Title Group Executive for First American Title Insurance Company. Prior to joining First American, Tara worked 13 years for Stewart and served as Group President of the company's Agency Operations. Previously, Tara spent 12 years in public accounting through which she provided strategic guidance to clients in the financial services and oil and gas industries. Tara is a member of the American Land Title Association’s Board of Governors. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
