Capital Title Group Inc., a provider of title insurance, appraisal and valuation services, Wednesday named Chief Financial Officer Mark C. Walker as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Walker joined Scottsdale-based Capital Title (NASDAQ: CTGI) in 1998, as the company's Chief Financial Officer and for the near term will continue in that position along with his new assignment.

Walker received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.
