ALTA® Technology Committee: Working Hard for You

The Technology Committee meets frequently and works throughout the year on products and services that are important to you. The ALTA® Tech Forum's educational programming and the ALTA® Member Vendor Directory are Technology Committee projects. ALTA® staff and committee members participate in standards development efforts for the real estate and mortgage finance industries, attending meetings throughout the year in cooperation with other industry professionals. Committee members are also working to bring you better sources of information for IT purchasing and education.

Promoting Data Standards for Title Insurance and More

ALTA® is involved in many organizations that are advancing the industry's technology. From the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), working to develop voluntary electronic commerce standards for the real estate, settlement, and mortgage financyeindustries, to the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA), working on nationwide recording standards, ALTA® is at the forefront of technology change.
