Hidden Waterfall Kayak and Nature Hike |
| Cost:
|
|
$160 per person
This combination eco-tour will allow you to experience a very special place – by water and on foot – without the back-aching, blister causing exertions that many other kayak and hiking events bring about. The kayak portion of the trip will encompass the 240-acre Hule’ia National Wildlife Refuge. You’re sure to recognize scenery from many motion pictures such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park and Lost World.
Hidden Valley waits as you leave the kayak for terra firma. Your destination is Hidden Falls – a beautiful series of pool-drop waterfalls with swimming and swinging from rope swings en-route. The emphasis is on a fun, soft-adventure experience in one of the most picturesque places on the Garden Isle. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch in the shadow of the falls. |

Helicopter Tour |
| Cost:
|
|
$285
Rise above rainbows; let your spirits soar as you experience the grandeur of Kauai during this 50-minute helicopter flight. The island’s deep canyons are a testament to nature’s forceful patience. In the center of this largely inaccessible island stands 5,148-foot Mt. Wai’ale’ale (literally meaning "rippling of overflowing water") where 460 inches of rainfall give credence to her claim as the wettest spot on earth.
The helicopter fleet consists of the EC-120B4 "ECO-STAR" – the first helicopter specifically designed for air touring, featuring 23% more interior room, larger viewing windows, and enhanced avionics that produce a "superquiet" ride. A highly qualified and experienced pilot will narrate your flight with a background of personally chosen choreographed music, as well as capture the incredible experience on video using multiple strategically placed in-flight cameras. |
| 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. |
|
Spouse/Guest Event – Malama ka Aina – Care for the Land at Iliahi Estate |
| Cost: |
|
$50 if registered as a spouse/guest, otherwise $100
Taking one’s time and directing one’s energy back into the land and the communities that have continually provided so much is indeed a sign of personal and societal enlightenment. Iliahi, which means sandalwood, is situated on a hillside near Kilohana crater where you will marvel at a 180-degree vista of the Garden Island’s eastern coastline. The estate was built in the early pre-war years of plantation life in Kaua‘i.
During this energizing and rewarding event, there will be plenty of time to “talk story” over lunch about the plants and ecology of Hawaii as well as the connection of its people and nature with a respected Kupuna (one who has gained essential wisdom, knowledge and experience and serve as spiritual leaders of the community.) In the spirit of caring, giving back and preserving, we will create together and ideal community conservation project. |

Michael F. Wille Memorial TIPAC Tournament, Poipu Bay Golf Course at Grand Hyatt
Here, nature and renowned designer Robert Trent Jones Jr. conspired to create a stunning Hawaii golf resort. A unique and unforgettable golf experience awaits you, one that will bring every aspect of your game into fresh and thrilling focus. Poipu Bay Golf Course offers some exceptional amenities. The Poipu Bay Golf Course is backed by lush emerald mountains and sculpted from a rolling plateau eight stories above the expansive blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Even the most focused golfer will be challenged by breathtaking views from each and every hole. Nestled among the gentle contours of Poipu Bay, you'll discover the remains of Hawaiian heiau (places of worship) and ancient stone walls. |

Waimea Canyon Tour |
| Cost: |
|
$95 per person
Being the eldest of the Hawaiian islands has its distinct advantages. Nature has sculpted the Garden Isle with a forceful patience that has created some of the most ruggedly amazing scenery found anywhere in the archipelago.
Numerous rivers and streams fed by Mt. Wai’ale’ale have carved the living rock of Kauai into an earth-toned wonder called the Waimea Canyon. You will be mesmerized by the constantly changing parade of colors on the canyon walls. It’s easy to see why Waimea Canyon is called the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific."
On the way back to the hotel, you will visit the Kaua’i Coffee Company and experience a working coffee plantation including tastings of some of the finest coffee in the world. |

|
Reception & Polynesian Pa’ina |
| Cost: |
|
Included in registration fee, extra tickets may be purchased for $195
You will have been inspired with innovation from the meetings and visit with our exhibitors, so close the convention with inspiration from the Pacific.
By definition, a pa’ina is an intimate gathering of ohana (extended family) and friends. It is a time to feast, a time to share and a place to enjoy. Pa’ina is also a cultural celebration of life. Soothing natural rhythms are perfectly in synch with the musical strains of ukulele and guitars. The setting sun and the sound of the pu, the conch shell, heralds a parade of chants, music, and hula as the history of the islands unfolds. |
