Annual Convention General Session to Analyze New Mortgage Disclosures

For more than 30 years, federal law generally required consumers receive the HUD-1 and Truth-In-Lending disclosures when closing a mortgage.

The closing process will make a dramatic change as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is expected to release its final rules for new mortgage disclosures in the next month or so. Say goodbye to the GFE, HUD-1 and TIL. Are you ready to handle a new Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure?

Register for ALTA’s 2013 Annual Convention at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla., and attend the general session on Friday, Oct. 11 titled “A New Era for Closings,” as our expert panel analyze the proposal—or final rule if it’s released—and explain how it will impact your operation, and your relationship with lender clients and consumers.

Invited speakers include:

  • Sally Freudenberg, Wells Fargo Home and Consumer Finance Group
  • Rich Horn, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
  • Ben Olsen, Buckley Sandler
  • Leslie Wyatt, SoftPro

Register online and save $50. Early-bird registration ends Sept. 13. As always, CE/CLE credits will be available in many states for several professional development sessions.
