It's Been a Difficult Year . . . Let Loose and Have Some Fun

Enough with trying to figure out when the market will rebound, what guidance HUD will issue next regarding the new GFE/HUD-1 forms, whether or not an order will close because of valuation issues, and the countless other issues bombarding the title industry.

Studies have shown that taking breaks can create enhanced learning opportunities. That's why we have arranged a number of fabulous activities during the 2009 ALTA Annual  Convention in Palm Beach, Fla., from Oct. 21-24. Just take a look at the many interesting events that you can take part in during the convention while taking a break from all the educational opportunities. Register today to join in on the fun.

Flagler Museum Tour
Home of Henry Flagler, Whitehall is one of the most prestigious and beautiful homes in all of America. Completed in 1902, this estate was Henry Flagler's wedding present to his third wife, Mary Lily Kenan. Over 40 years after his death, Flagler's granddaughter formed the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum and opened Whitehall to the public. Restored to its original glory, steeped in history and grand tradition, this private mansion tour will take you back in time.

Horseback Riding on the Beach
Enjoy an unforgettable moment as you gallop along the pristine beaches of South Hutchinson Island, one of the few beaches in Florida that allows horseback riding. This three-mile ride enables you to experience nature as you have never before.

Guided Breakers Reef Tour
The natural treasures found off-shore from the resort are attributed to two different hurricanes dating back to the 1920s. These storms destroyed a 1,000-foot pier that extended out from The Breakers' private beach, which resulted in extraordinary pristine coral reef formations - now a habitat for some 400+ species of marine life including fish, crustaceans, sponges and invertebrates. Today, it is sought out by watersports enthusiasts from all over, who have  observed everything from turtles to stingrays within a mile off shore. On this tour, you will be Accompanied by a PADI Instructor, and you will learn the basic skills necessary to make any snorkeling excursion complete.

Bicycle Tour of Palm Beach
Weaving your way through the town of Palm Beach and along the Intercoastal Waterway, you  will enjoy the beauty of the island and many of its hidden treasures, including close up views of Palm Beach's famed mansions. On this six-mile trip, the pace is leisurely making it a favorite for adults of any ability.
