ALTA® Public Awareness Program
Why Did ALTA® Launch the Program?The ALTA® Public Awareness Program was designed to educate real estate professionals, lenders, and consumers about the value of title insurance. Working with Ervin/Bell Public Relations, the Program is meant to last multiple years. Title Industry Elevator Speech Title Industry Marketing Kit: What's in it?A Title Industry Marketing Kit has been developed for ALTA® members to use in educating these audiences. The kit contains a 12-minute video (or DVD) that can be shown to consumers as they wait to close, or to local real estate agents or groups like Kiwanis. A similar message is presented in a PowerPoint presentation if you prefer that medium. The kit contains sample brochures that can be given to consumers or real estate agents, and can be customized with your address or logo. Sample ads are included which can also be customized and sent to local publications. Finally, the kit contains sample articles that you can add your byline to and send to your local newspapers. A great tool to help you promote your company and educate these audiences about the value of title insurance. All of the materials in the kit are also available in Spanish. Ads directed to Realtors® have been placed in REALTOR Magazine. Ads directed to lenders have been placed in Mortgage Banking, National Mortgage News, and Origination News. Ads have also appeared on homestore.com a very popular site for consumers who want information on home buying. Download Articles to Send to NewspapersThese articles cover a variety of title insurance topics, which you can send to your local newspaper. You can use them as they are—just add your name and bio information--or revise them to give them a personal touch by including information pertinent to your local area.
Download Free On-Hold MessagesALTA® has recorded two messages promoting title insurance that you can use when you need to put customers on hold.
