State Legislative and Regulatory Resource Center

ALTA®'s State Legislative and Regulatory Resource Center assists state land title associations in educating policy makers about the values of the title insurance industry. It enables these associations to easily exchange regional industry trends and state advocacy strategies. The Resource Center includes information about ALTA®'s State Legislative and Regulatory Action Committee, state issue reports, industry news, and other state resources.

State Legislative Reports

Is your state considering legislation that would affect the title industry? If so, chances are good that another state has considered or enacted similar legislation. State Legislative Reports are a resource provided by members of ALTA®'s State Legislative and Regulatory Action Committee (SLRAC) throughout the year. You can review the reports anytime by visiting the State Legislative Reports Archive. The archive contains reports from 1998 to the present.

State Legislative and Regulatory Action Committee

The State Legislative and Regulatory Action Committee serves as an informational source state legislative and regulatory proposals affecting the land title industry. This allows state land title associations to advocate on these issues.
