ForSaleByOwner.com Strikes Marketing Deal With 38 Magazines

ForSaleByOwner.com<, a real estate services Web site that allows people to buy and sell real estate without paying a commission, today announced it has completed a deal with 38 real estate magazines in the United States.
Company officials said the agreement will create a nationally branded network in the fragmented for-sale-by-owner market.
Under the terms of the deal, the magazine publishers will upload property listings to ForSaleByOwner.com and adopt the ForSaleByOwner.com logo as a masthead.
"A comprehensive nationally branded Web site and network of magazines will be an attractive proposition for advertisers," said ForSaleByOwner.com COO Colby N. Sambrotto.
The deal will give ForSaleByOwner.com local offices in Chicago, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, New Orleans, Michigan, Utah and other markets, according to the company.
