The release of both applications coincides with the signing of a new agreement between FNIS and global real estate franchisor RE/MAX International. The agreement renews FNIS' status as a RE/MAX Approved Supplier and technology partner and involves the development of significant technology by FNIS for members of the RE/MAX network.
"RE/MAX views technology as an empowering tool for brokers, sales associates and consumers," said Bruce Benham, RE/MAX chief technology officer. Shane Cranton, executive vice president of FNIS' Real Estate Professional Services division, states, "We view RE/MAX as a technology leader in our industry and are committed to supporting their technical platforms. As a result of this agreement, we are investing a significant level of financial and technological resources, and RE/MAX Agent 2000 version 4.5 features enhancements that improve agent productivity from contact through closing and beyond, fueling our vision to provide services that allow RE/MAX associates to develop customers for life."
FNIS' continuing development of the Agent product line is the result of on-going relationships and communications with software users, the majority of which are RE/MAX associates.
"Over 14,000 of our associates use RE/MAX Office 2000 and RE/MAX Agent 2000 to manage their business and market themselves," states Kristi Graning, RE/MAX vice president of Web services and technology. Through listening to what users have to say, understanding their businesses and developing enhancements that meet or exceed their needs, FNIS has given RE/MAX brokers and associates a competitive edge and opportunities to satisfy and retain customers."
