CloseSimple Earns SOC2 Type II Certification

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform provider CloseSimple recently earned a SOC2 Type II certification.
CloseSimple’s SOC2 report was prepared by Dansa D'Arata Soucia, LLP. An SOC2 audit measures an organization’s controls that are relevant to security, availability, processing integrity and confidentiality.
“This goes a step further than a SOC2 Type I report, which is limited to an auditor's opinion of the design of our controls,” said Nate Niemi, chief technical officer for CloseSimple. “Although our security program goes beyond what is contained in this audit, it does demonstrate CloseSimple's commitment to observing industry standards and providing transparency to our customers.”
The report is intended to provide transparency regarding the design and effectiveness of the controls in place at CloseSimple that the company uses to maintain security, availability and processing integrity of its platform.
After an audit of its system description, documentation and operational evidence, CloseSimple found its controls to be suitably designed and that they operated effectively during the monitor period.
