Continental Title Names New President

Kansas-based Continental Title Co. recently named long-time team member and industry veteran Elizabeth Daniel as its new president.

Daniel looks forward to furthering the rich legacy of Continental Title, which has 19 locations throughout Missouri and Kansas, as a leading influence in both the real estate and title industries.

With over 26 years of experience in mortgage and title insurance, she has already begun to draw on her industry knowledge and leadership skills to honor Continental Title’s history while propelling the company into the future. This includes a continued focus on providing a safe and secure closing experience while also implementing a transparent, inclusive decision-making framework for leadership.

“I’m honored to step into this role as president of Continental Title,” Daniel said. “I get to work with the most amazing employees/co-workers in the industry. They have so much passion for title and escrow. You can see it in the way they help each other and our clients.”

After beginning her career with a local title insurance company in 1996, Daniel began her career at Continental Title Company in 2006 after a short stint with a national lender. First serving as escrow manager in Wichita and Lawrence, she was elevated to operations manager and then vice president of operations for the Kansas City, Kan. and St. Louis, Mo., regions. She was then promoted to chief operating officer for all of Continental Title’s locations. When longtime president Matt McBride made the decision to transition into a new role focused on preventing fraud in the title industry, he made the recommendation for Daniel to take over as president.

“The decision to promote Elizabeth Daniel to the role of President of Continental Title was an easy one,” said McBride when first announcing the transition. “In her 16-year career with Continental, Elizabeth has proven herself to be an exceptional leader, champion for her teams and change advocate. Elizabeth will continue to build upon the stellar legacy that Continental Title has built in Kansas and Missouri.”
