Doma Names Florida Regional Agency Manager

Doma has appointed 20- year title insurance and real estate industry veteran Carlos Rodriguez to lead its independent agency team in Florida. Serving as regional agency manager for the Sunshine State, Rodriguez will lead Doma’s team of Florida agency managers and support the needs of the underwriter’s commercial and attorney agents and customers.

Rodriguez began his career as a real estate attorney with global law firm Greenberg Traurig PA, before moving on to serve in operations and sales management roles for several national title insurance underwriters.

“We continue to tell a great story at Doma, and Carlos’ impressive career and skill set will help us tell our story even better,” said Rich Griffin, Doma’s senior vice president of agency. “I am delighted to have Carlos join our growing team, as his tremendous experience and legal background will bring even more value to our agents and help them grow and succeed.”

Throughout his career, Rodriguez has provided legal and business counseling to a broad range of publicly owned and privately held domestic and foreign companies, including those in industries such as real estate, manufacturing, retail and professional and financial services. He has also provided counseling regarding U.S. and foreign title insurance matters, construction valuation, mergers and acquisitions, property leasing, licensing agreements, corporate formation and financing, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and executive and estate planning. As an American College of Financial Services certified family business specialist, Rodriguez has also provided business and planning services to family-owned businesses.

“I am excited to build on the excellent efforts of our Florida independent agency team and recruit great new team members,” Rodriguez said. “I’m most excited to meet our agency owners and their teams and earn their trust as a valuable resource and go-to partner for their business.”
