SoftPro Integrates With DataTrace

SoftPro expanded its nationwide network of third-party vendors with the release of its new integration with DataTrace. SoftPro users can now DataTrace's title database for title searches, title production and tax reporting through DataTrace.

By adding DataTrace to the SoftPro 360 business exchange portal, which is free to all SoftPro users, the data from a SoftPro file can automatically link to DataTrace saving time and reducing errors. This integration provides access to over 560 title plants, nationwide tax and recorded property data and more than seven billion document images.

“Like SoftPro, DataTrace has a long-standing, well-respected reputation in the land title industry, and we are pleased to give our customers fully integrated access to their services through SoftPro 360,” said Patrick Hempen, SoftPro chief customer officer.

DataTrace provides nationwide title production services with local, state-based expertise with its full suite of examined and non-examined products, including title reports and preliminary commitments. In addition, DataTrace offers property tax information and certification services in Colorado and Texas.

“Our integration with SoftPro provides a more secure, fully-integrated portal to further expedite the efficiencies afforded by a completely automated title search and closing process,” said Jim Portner, DataTrace vice president of product and strategy. “Ultimately, this integration provides SoftPro users with the insight, automation and services needed to streamline their operations and enhance customer relations.”
