Surety Title Company Appoints COO

Surety Title Company LLC named Casey Brown as chief operating officer. With more than 20 years of experience, she will take a lead role managing internal operations, streamlining processes and improving efficiencies across departments and office locations. Key to her responsibilities will be staff education with the establishment of a leadership development program, an area in which she has long-standing training and expertise. Brown is charged with reconnecting the company’s 25 locations, which includes working hands-on at its multiple offices. She brings a broad perspective to the agency side of title insurance having worked as an underwriter, state agency manager and agency co-owner.

Prior to joining Surety Title, Brown was with First American Title Insurance Co. holding positions as vice president, state agency manager for both New Jersey and Delaware, senior underwriter and director of education for the past five years. She’s also worked at Stewart Title Company and Platinum Title Agency, and co-owned American General Title Agency.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Surety staff and leadership over the years and their reputation is beyond reproach.,” Brown said. “I am so excited to take on this challenge and make a great impact throughout the organization.”
