First American Named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For

For the fifth consecutive year, First American Financial Corp. has been named as one of the 2020 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.

“Five straight years as one of the best companies to work for is a tremendous recognition of the integrity, commitment and teamwork our people demonstrate day in and day out,” said Dennis Gilmore, CEO, First American. “We strongly believe that putting people first matters, and this philosophy begins with our employees and extends from there to our customers, our shareholders and the communities in which we work.”

First American was among hundreds of companies evaluated for placement on the list. The evaluation is based on survey feedback from more than 650,000 employees, with respondents rating more than 60 elements of their workplace experience. These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies who best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization.
