Agents National Title Names Texas Agency Manager

Agents National Title Insurance Company (ANTIC) recently announced that Mark Batis has been appointed as Texas agency manager.

In this role, Batis will establish ANTIC’s business operations and agency base in the state. He will also oversee agency operations, production and underwriting as well as manage all Texas personnel.

“I’m incredibly pleased to welcome Mark to the team,” said David Townsend, president of ANTIC. “Mark brings a drive, enthusiasm and commitment to success that will be of tremendous benefit to our agents. He is a wonderful asset for us and our agents and we are very fortunate to have him leading our growth in such a key market.”

Prior to joining ANTIC, Batis served as vice president and sales manager during his five-year tenure with WFG National Title Insurance Company. In these roles, he spearheaded sales strategies for the expansion and growth of the underwriter in Texas. Prior to WFG, Batis served as an executive recruiter for a specialty staffing firm in Houston, where he matched talent with open roles for several Fortune 500 companies. He currently serves on the Texas Land Title Association's Educational Advisory Committee and is passionate about educating young title professionals in the industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.

“I couldn't be happier to be a part of the Agents National family,” Batis said. “The company’s focus on technology, process improvement and education as well as its ‘agents only, agents first’ philosophy are unmatched in the industry.
