February 6, 2018

Agents National Title Insurance Company (ANTIC) announced that Kevin Thomas has been appointed senior vice president, Florida state manager and counsel.

In this role, Thomas will establish ANTIC’s business operations and agency base in the state. Thomas will also oversee agency operations, production and underwriting as well as manage all Florida personnel.

“Few know the Florida market as well as Kevin and we are fortunate to have him leading our expansion there,” said David Townsend, president of ANTIC. “Kevin has a proven track record of industry leadership and supporting local title insurance agents with fast, accurate underwriting responses over more than 30 years. Supporting the growth of agents is ANTIC’s top priority and we are very glad to welcome Kevin to our team.”

Prior to joining ANTIC, Thomas was senior vice president and southeast regional counsel for AmTrust Title Insurance Company. Prior to this role, he served as vice president and Florida underwriting counsel at Stewart Title, and as senior vice president and general counsel of Alliance Title of America. Thomas currently serves as chair of the Florida Land Title Association’s (FLTA) Insurers Section and is the association’s incoming president.

“ANTIC is the ideal home for me,” Thomas said. “I have a passion for supporting title agents and firmly believe in ANTIC’s ‘agents first’ philosophy. ANTIC has a track record of unparalleled commitment to supporting its agents with tools, resources and education—all priorities that make the company well-positioned for growth in the coming years. I am honored to be charged with establishing ANTIC’s presence in Florida and I am confident the community here will embrace it.”
