Hoffman Appointed President of Old Republic Central Title

Old Republic National Title Insurance Co. (ORNTIC) announced that Curtis J. Hoffman has been named president of Old Republic Central Title, Inc. In addition, he will be appointed executive vice president of ORNTIC, joining the title group's executive leadership team. Curtis succeeds John Magness, who left the company.

Hoffman has more than 30 years of experience in real estate and title insurance, including direct operations, business and sales development, recruiting and training, operational leadership, and strategic business planning.

Hoffman joined Old Republic Title in December 2010 as county manager for the Dallas/Ft. Worth Division. In May 2013, he was promoted to vice president, ORNTIC, Dallas/Ft. Worth division manager. In that role, he focused on expanding and leading the Dallas/Ft. Worth office and on further development of commercial business. In October 2015, Hoffman was promoted to senior vice president for ORNTIC and Southwest direct operations manager. In March 2016, he advanced to Southwest regional manager with oversight of operations throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

In 1993, Hoffman started his title career in Dallas, as a business development officer and county manager for a title insurance company in Chicago. From 2004 through 2010, he advanced into various management and leadership positions, including roles as vice president and executive vice president for title companies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He ultimately was appointed president of a title company in Ft. Worth, where he oversaw the escrow operations of over 30 direct and fee-attorney offices throughout the North Texas area.
