AmTrust Names National Agency Manager

AmTrust Title Insurance Company named Thomas Klein as senior vice president and national agency manager and manager for Mid-Atlantic agency units.
Klein, a title insurance veteran with more than 36 years of title insurance experience, will immediately step into a senior management role within AmTrust Title. He will oversee the unit that services larger title agents operating in multiple states, and building out the infrastructure to support agents in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Washington, D.C.
“As we fortify our national title insurance operations and surpass 32 licensed jurisdictions, it’s crucial that we have outstanding oversight and Tom brings the agency, commercial and management experience to help take AmTrust Title to the next level,” said Jason Gordon, president of AmTrust Title Insurance Company. “Tom is a relationship builder, problem solver, and he understands the importance of maintaining and improving customer relations.”
Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Klein was senior vice president and national agency division manager for WFG National Title Insurance Company. He launched and oversaw agency operations in eight states, including Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Earlier, he held senior posts for LandAmerica Financial Group where, among other responsibilities, he advised on field operations of affiliated businesses and RESPA matters and concurrently served as president of Real Title Company (subsidiary of Lawyers Title) and vice president for Agency Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation. Klein was also the founder of Virginia Escrow & Title Company prior to its acquisition by Lawyers title in the 1987.
