Compliance & Technology Conference to Highlight Regulatory Obligations, ALTA’s Best Practices

Between the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, new regulatory compliance guidelines and implementation of ALTA’s “Title Insurance and Settlement Company Best Practices, title agents have a lot on their plate.

The 2014 Land Title Compliance & Technology Conference, which will be held Feb. 7 at the Hilton Orlando Resort, will feature "how-to sessions" to help title agents understand the complex changes impacting the market. The conference also will discuss valuable tools and resources that are available to increase profits, secure data and reduce operational risk.

Conference attendees will be eligible to receive a minimum of threehours of CE/CLE credits for Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida (pending final approval).
