ALTA Member Named Citizen of the Year by Local Chamber

December 24, 2013

ALTA member Tim Evans was recently named Citizen of the Year by the Tipp City Area Chamber of Commerce.

Evans, who is president of Tipp City, Ohio-based Evans Title Agency, serves on ALTA’s Abstracter and Title Insurance Agents Section Executive Committee. Additionally, he participates on other leadership committees including Membership, Research, the Title Action Network and TIPAC. Evans also is a past president of the Ohio Land Titles Association and has been involved with the association for more than 20 years.

Locally, Evans has been involved with the Tipp City Planning Board. He also was named mayor of Tipp City during his time on city council.

“The Chamber of Commerce and Tipp City are very near to my heart,” Evans said. “The Chamber has done a great job of growing relationships of the business community for years, and it’s stronger than ever. It's all due to the hard working individuals who have dedicated their time to the Chamber of Commerce, and the leadership. I am honored and humbled.”

Taking part in the presentation were Ohio Sen. Bill Beagle and Ohio Rep. Dick Adams. Evans received special recognition from the Ohio Senate and House of Representatives.
