Echoworx Partners with Cloudstar to Provide Email Encryption Solutions

Echoworx Corp. announced a partnership with Cloudstar to provide email encryption solutions to Cloudstar customers leveraging the OneWorld Email Encryption platform.

Echoworx Corp. is a provider of email encryption and managed encryption solutions, while Cloudstar is a national provider of best practice, compliance and advanced technology systems for the land title insurance industry. Cloudstar plans to offer the service to its customers before the end of the year.

"Land title agents are subject to a number of compliance requirements and failing to encrypt emails is no longer an option,” said Michael Ginsberg, president and CEO of Echoworx.” “By adding OneWorld email encryption to their services, Cloudstar demonstrates their commitment to the land title industry."

OneWorld Email and data encryption from Echoworx is a managed policy-based encryption solution. According to a release, the solution provides organizations with an easy way to enforce email encryption while allowing the flexibility of multiple encryption methods. Echoworx OneWorld email encryption provides the ability to associate rules with the content of outbound email to help protect organizations from liabilities associated with privacy and data security regulations.

"Cloudstar is pleased to be offering the best email encryption and data security products to the title insurance industry,” said Gregory McDonald, CEO of Cloudstar. “Through our partnership with Echoworx, Cloudstar is helping title agents operate within ALTA Best Practice guidelines, and comply with CFPB and other regulatory obligations."

The third pillar of ALTA’s "Title Insurance and Settlement Company Best Practices” addresses protection of non-public personal information (NPI). Protecting NPI included in emails is essential to meeting this Best Practice.
