The Docket: U.S. Bankruptcy Court Ruling Highlights Importance of Professional Liability Insurance

The court held that an underwriter’s claim against an attorney agent was not sufficient to prevent the attorney from receiving a discharge of his obligation to the underwriter. Read on to learn why lapses or gaps in professional liability coverage put agents and underwriters at risk.
