CFPB Unveils Initial Drafts of Closing Disclosure

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau moved to its second phase of it Know Before You Owe mortgage project by releasing its first draft of two alternative prototypes of a final disclosure form combining the Truth in Lending disclosure and a HUD-1 Settlement Statement to explain to consumers final loan terms and closing costs.
