Gordon Bethune Slated to Address ALTA® 2008 Annual Convention, October 15-18, 2008

Former CEO and Chairman of Continental Airlines Gordon Bethune is confirmed to serve as one of the general session speakers at ALTA's 101st Annual Convention, Friday, October 17, 2008 in Hawaii. Bethune is credited with the turnaround of Continental Airlines by launching a new management strategy and corporate vision, which repositioned the airline as one of the top companies in the industry. He serves on the board of a number of corporations including Honeywell International Corporation, Sprint Nextel Corporation, and Prudential Financial. Bethune will share his insights on what it takes to master the art of operating a successful business.

Other keynote speakers will share expert analysis on the upcoming political landscape and economic forecasts and how they will impact the title industry. More than a dozen professional development sessions will be offered covering topics on marketing/sales, government regulations and compliance, and best business practices.
