Closing Protection Letter Adopted

December 28, 2006

The ALTA Forms Committee modified the Closing Protection Letter (CPL) forms and limited the number of forms to three: the "ALTA Closing Protection Letter," "Closing Protection Letter-Limitations," and the "Closing Protection Letter-Single Transaction Limited Liability." Substantive changes are the same in all three revised forms.

The revised forms are available on ALTA's Web site free to subscribers of ALTA's online forms. Visit ALTA's Policy Forms Online to learn more.
