Treasury Secretary Snow to Testify on Regulation of Government Sponsored Enterprises - Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac

July 11, 2003

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Michael G. Oxley (OH) announced today that Treasury Secretary John W. Snow will testify on the regulatory structure of the housing government sponsored enterprises.

The full committee hearing will begin at 10 a.m. on July 25 in room 2128 of the Rayburn Building.

The Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises has aslo scheduled a hearing on H.R. 2575, the Secondary Mortgage Market Enterprises Regulatory Improvement Act for July 16.
