A symposium featuring an analysis of the strategies employed in financing, redeveloping and disposing of infill apartment projects will be held Feb. 20 at the Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA.

The event is being held in collaboration with The Urban Land Institute?s Los Angeles district council and will include a case study of a major multifamily housing project in the San Fernando Valley, near Los Angeles. The program will begin with an overview of the capital and multifamily markets by Ziman Center Director Walter Torous.

"Our objective is to provide attendees with a road map of how other similar urban infill transactions of this kind can be successfully developed," said Donald Brackenbush, chairman of the local Urban Land Institute council.

Program sponsors include the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group, Kennedy-Wilson International, Commonwealth Land Title Co. and Nevers, Palazzo, Maddux & Packard.
