Acquisition Adds To Title And Closing Automation Solutions

SANTA ANA, Calif., /PRNewswire/ -- Micro General Corporation (Nasdaq: MGEN) has acquired for $250,000 the technology assets of Expeditrix Corporation and its real estate closing product, SmartClose(TM). SmartClose is a web-based application linking all participants in a real estate transaction, and provides them a secure, central workspace to gather and manage complex documents, monitor progress of the transaction, and automatically issue alerts when new information has been received.

"The SmartClose technology solution adds increased functionality to our current product suite and will save us time and expense in developing our future integrated suite of technology products," said John Snedegar, Micro General CEO.
