Research & Professional Development Intern

ALTA, founded in 1907, is the national trade association and voice of the abstract and title insurance industry. ALTA members search, review, and insure land titles to protect home buyers and mortgage lenders who invest in real estate.



  • Prepare for the professional development sessions at the major ALTA meetings
  • Research, review, and edit documentation of industry standards
  • Speaker correspondence and coordination
  • Communicate with members and customers regarding their educational products
  • Monitor industry and committee conference calls
  • Assist with other projects as needed


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Creative
  • A self-starter with sound business judgment
  • Able to effectively organize work activities to meet deadlines
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • ALTA accepts applications from undergraduate and graduate students of all majors. 


Hours: 20-29 hours per week during Spring and Fall Semesters; up to 40 hours for the Summer

Wage/Salary: $13/hour

Dates Available: Fall Semester, Spring Semester, Summer
