Grassroots/Advocacy Intern

The American Land Title Association is seeking a paid grassroots/political action committee (PAC) intern to work with its advocacy team for 20-29 hours per week.  The grassroots/advocacy intern will assist communications and government affairs staff members with data entry for new members, recruitment for TAN, engagement of current TAN members, and communication plans for TAN and the land title industry. The Title Action Network is an energized movement of thousands of title insurance industry professionals promoting the industry’s benefit and helping protect homeownership rights.



  • Assist with data entry and data cleanup efforts.
  • Prep Political Action Committee (PAC) mailings
  • Sort & analyze PAC invitations for events in DC and around the country
  • Filing, organization and data entry as needed
  • Aid in implementation of recruitment plans for Title Action Network members.
  • Assist with Title Action Network member communication.
  • Draft print, email and social media communications for Title Action Network members.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorm sessions.
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing BS/BA.
  • An interest in grassroots recruitment, communication, or public affairs.
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with social media a plus.


Hours: 20-29 hours per week during Spring and Fall Semesters; up to 40 hours for the Summer

Wage/Salary: $13/hour

Dates Available: Fall Semester, Spring Semester, Summer
