Senate Banking Committee to Hold Hearing on Credit Card Practices |

New Chairman Chriss Dodd (D-CT) has referred to credit cards as "pocket-size predatory loans" and has been a consistent critic of the credit card industry. This is the first banking issue to be considered by the panel, which has held one hearing on transportation security.
