Baker Announces Witnesses for October 6 Fannie Mae Hearing

Subcommittee Chairman Richard H. Baker (LA) has announced the witnesses for his panel’s Wednesday, October 6 hearing, set to begin at 10 a.m. in room 2128 of the Rayburn Building. The hearing, entitled “The OFHEO (Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight) Report: Allegations of Accounting and Management Failure at Fannie Mae,” will focus on the “Report of Findings to Date, Special Examination of Fannie Mae.” Rep. Baker leads the Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises.
