San Jose, Calif., Resident Receives National Title Professional Designation

Washington, DC, May 11, 2015 — Judi Souza has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Souza joins 46 other industry leaders from around the United States who have earned the professional designation.

The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*

“Judi’s enthusiasm and pride for her work in the land title insurance industry is admirable,” said ALTA President Diane Evans NTP. ”Her professionalism and industry knowledge prove her to be a much-deserved recipient of a National Title Professional designation. I hope that other land title insurance professionals follow Judi’s lead and apply for an NTP designation.”

Souza is the owner of Escrow Expertise in San Jose, CA, and is a founding member of the American Escrow Association. She serves on several ALTA committees and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Souza is a court-qualified expert witness with more than 40 years of experience regarding Standard of Care in numerous areas including: escrow, title insurance, notary public, mortgage lending and claims.
