Fredericksburg, Va., Resident Receives National Title Professional Designation

Washington, DC, May 11, 2015 — Sonia Kuppert has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Kuppert joins 46 other industry leaders from around the United States who have earned the professional designation.

The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*

“Sonia’s professionalism and knowledge of the land title insurance industry is commendable,” said ALTA President Diane Evans NTP. ”Her enthusiasm and industry devotion prove her to be a much-deserved recipient of a National Title Professional designation. I hope that other Virginia land title insurance professionals follow Sonia’s lead and apply for an NTP designation.”

Kuppert is Executive Vice President at STA Title & Escrow in Fredericksburg, VA, and has more than 26 years of experience in the land title insurance industry. In 2013, Kuppert received Certified Title Settlement Agent and Certified Title Examiner designations from the Virginia Land Title Association (VLTA). She frequently speaks at real estate industry events for lenders and realtors and serves on several VLTA committees.

Kuppert is the third NTP designee from Virginia. A full directory of National Title Professionals is available here.
