The First American Corp. reported that Roslyn B. Payne has resigned from its board of directors effective Dec. 28, 2009.

Payne, who joined the company’s board in 1988, is president of Jackson Street Partners Ltd., a real estate venture capital and investments firm located in San Francisco.

California-based First American is a provider of business information. The company offers Title Insurance and Services, Specialty Insurance, Information and Outsourcing Solutions, Data and Analytic Solutions, and Risk Mitigation and Business Solutions.
