Stewart Title Guaranty Names Carraux as Vice President

Denise Carraux has been named the vice president of legal automation and process management for Stewart Title Guaranty Co. (STGC)

Carraux has been with STGC since 1986, having managed claims recovery and then becoming the research paralegal and librarian for Stewart Legal Services, a division within STGC.

In this new position, she will manage the automation systems handled by Stewart Legal Services, including supervision of the LegalFiles project, the CounselLink project, policy loss systems and accounting system integration.

"Denise has designed and implemented innovative solutions for Stewart Legal Services," said E. Ashley Smith, STGC general counsel. "Everyone in Stewart Legal will benefit from Denise's leadership and her professional approach to problem solving. I am very proud of the work she is doing."

Carraux also will supervise associates within the claims administration group, develop training programs for Stewart associates on various Stewart Legal Services' systems and procedures, and continue administration of all Stewart trademarks.

Carraux also handles Stewart's mentor program with Grady Middle School, which is in the Houston Independent School District. The Stewart-Grady program has been active for 13 years.

She has a BBA in management from the University of Houston, summa cum laude.
