Anderson Appointed to Lead Stewart eMortgage Initiatives

Industry Veteran Joins Stewart Transaction Solutions as VP of Business Development

HOUSTON -- Mortgage technology veteran, Tim Anderson, has joined Stewart Transaction Solutions as vice president of business development--lender channel. Anderson brings more than 25 years of mortgage banking and management experience to this new position.

"Tim's knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in leading our business development initiatives for eMortgages and Stewart's overall vision of the paperless real estate transaction," said Travis Wright, president of Stewart Transaction Solutions. "The SureClose® transaction management platform, revolutionary eClosingRoom(TM), eSignature and eRecording technologies, coupled with our newly-developed electronic vault, position Stewart to offer the industry a seamless electronic real estate transaction. Tim will be a strong driver to sell these solutions within the industry."

Anderson most recently served as executive vice president, business solutions for Dexma, one of the first companies to support a paperless origination process utilizing Web services.

His background also includes work with DocuTech, Ignition Mortgage Technology Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Freddie Mac at the time), Ticor Realty Tax Services, ALLTEL Information Services (now Fidelity Information Services); and he ran the eCommerce division for HomeSide Lending (now Washington Mutual). Anderson also founded the eMortgage Alliance(TM), which supports MISMO standards for delivering legal paperless processes.

He is a past member of the Mortgage Bankers Association's Residential Technology committee (ResTech) Software & Services subcommittee and currently serves on its MISMO Governance committee and eMortgage workgroup. He also serves on the advisory board for SourceMedia and Real Estate Technology News publications.

Anderson has written for Mortgage Technology and Mortgage Banking magazines and listed in Who's Who in Internet Technology. Long known for promoting strategic applications and trends in technology such as XML and SMART Docs, Anderson was recognized and received the prestigious Steven Fraser Award from Mortgage Technology magazine in 2003 and is a prominent speaker at many industry events.
