FTC to Host Workshop on Alternative Mortgages

The Federal Trade Commission is hosting a one-day workshop on consumer protection issues involving residential mortgage products. The workshop is free and open to the public; preregistration is not required. Workshop attendees will need a government-issued form of identification. Members of the media will need to bring press credentials. There is limited space reserved for members of the media. Due to the anticipated popularity of this event, early arrival is recommended.
