The ALTA Closing Committee is reviewing a proposal from the Mortgage Bankers Association to create a new uniform closing instruction form. The proposal would create two separate documents: "General Closing Instructions" (GCI) and "Specific Closing Instructions"(SCI). ALTA has already received several comments from members of the Closing Committee.
