July 7, 2016

Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. promoted Scott Chandler to chief operating officer effective immediately. In this role, Chandler will oversee the operating divisions of the company’s core business to include regional operations, Westcor’s National Agency Division as well as the company’s Lender Services Division. He will continue to lead Westcor’s recently acquired title search company, Realty Data Company (RDC). He will report directly to President/CEO Mary O’Donnell.

“Scott has a great mix of leadership, operational experience and passion for our employees,” O’Donnell said. “His experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”

Chandler, who joined Westcor in 2006, has served in various capacities. In his most recent role as executive vice president and director of agency, he was charged with the management and growth of all regional and national operations.

“It’s a wonderful time to be part of such an experienced and collaborative team at Westcor, where we continue to focus on the continued success of our employees and customers,” said Scott Chandler.

Chandler has been in the title insurance industry since 1983, working in leadership roles with various national underwriters. He joined Westcor as vice president and western regional manager, opening the western regional office in Denver. He grew the regional operation starting with three employees servicing title agencies mostly in Colorado, Utah and Nevada to a hub office with oversight of the mid-west, Texas and mountain region offices. In 2012, his role changed to executive vice president and director of agency with the responsibility of all agency operations nationwide. Westcor is now licensed in 48 states and Washington, D.C., and has over 1,200 independent title agents.
