Sun Title Expands Real Estate Education Initiatives for West Michigan Community

March 10, 2016

Sun Title Agency is expanding its education initiatives for the real estate and lending industries through a continuing education event series and new education channel on YouTube.

The continuing education event series is aimed toward real estate professionals, lenders and developers. The 14 courses are available throughout 2016 and are registered with the state of Michigan and approved for continuing education credits. The events take place at Kent Country Club and topics vary from seller financing to tough transaction issues.

“We have always wanted to provide an educational resource where individuals involved in a real estate transaction could obtain quick answers to difficult issues,” said Tom Cronkright, CEO and co-owner of Sun Title. “The real estate and lending environment continues to change and it’s important to have access to important information.  To provide this information on a mobile basis we launched an educational channel on YouTube for industry professionals and consumers to get quick answers to their real estate and title questions.”

The Sun Title educational channel launched on YouTube with six videos and one video will be added to the channel each week. Viewers can select a video on topics including trusts, powers of attorney, foreclosure and bankruptcy and how these topics effect real estate transactions.  Each video is approximately 60 seconds in length and includes a “Top Take-Away’s” list at the end of each video.

“Our hope with the education channel is that it gives viewers a place to go when they have a title or property transaction-related question but are unsure about where to turn,” said Lawrence Duthler, co-owner of Sun Title. “We noticed that many consumers and real estate professionals simply Google their question but have to read through pages and pages of legal terminology to get their answer. Our short videos will be posted each week on a variety of topics to help build a library of topics and answers on our channel.”
