SoftPro Announces Closing Disclosure Training Registration

SoftPro has opened registration for a variety of Closing Disclosure Form (CDF) training options. SoftPro customers can register immediately for “On-the-Road” training classes or webinar training sessions.

The new Closing Disclosure released by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will be required for most residential mortgage transactions beginning Aug. 1. Available for immediate registration, SoftPro’s CDF educational and training resources offer diverse options across all SoftPro platforms.

“Since the CFPB first announced the Final Rule for residential real estate transactions involving a loan, SoftPro’s focus has been to prepare our customers with compliant software as well as the training they need well before the August 1 deadline,” said Heidi Schultz, senior vice president of business services for SoftPro. “We have deliberately created a diverse array of training options that will appeal to the learning styles of a variety of users.”

SoftPro customers may register for CDF training by accessing the SoftPro CDF Training Center website. Hands-on CDF Classroom Training Sessions are available in over 40 locations throughout the United States. For SoftPro customers who prefer the convenience of training from their own office, SoftPro has nearly 20 CFPB Overview Webinars as well as over 40 webinars specific to completing a CDF within SoftPro’s software.

SoftPro customers additionally have access to other resources via their mySoftPro login and SoftPro’s blog dedicated to the latest regulatory information affecting SoftPro customers. SoftPro Current additionally provides access to training videos, frequently asked questions and other helpful links to keep SoftPro customers ahead of the curve.
